Gilbert GROUND ZERO Anti Tax Rally

March 08, 2010 By: patriot Category: Action Items, Events, Rally

Why is Gilbert at Ground Zero?

Because Gilbert families are under attack from two fronts:  a 17 percent increase in town taxes and another 18 percent increase in the state sales tax rate (already the fifth highest in the nation). They are Taxed Enough Already. They are fighting back. And they want you to join them.

This isn’t just a Gilbert event. This is for everyone who wants government off their backs and out of their wallets.

Saturday, March 13 – 10:00am to 3:00pm

GILBERT MUNICIPAL CENTER

50 E CIVIC CENTER DRIVE

  • A family event. Face painting for the children.  Bring picnic baskets and blankets.
  • A sign-making workshop and contest: Get free professional guidance, get the materials at cost and make your own anti-tax campaign signs on the spot.  And maybe win a trophy for the best one.
  • Or, if you prefer, there will be standard campaign yard signs for you to take home.
  • A tee-shirt design and slogan contest.  Bring designs and slogans suitable for possible use on tee-shirts.  Another chance to win a best in-show contest.
  • Citizens will speak out.  Get involved.  Share your ideas with your fellow citizens.
