March on Gilbert Town Hall

10 a.m. Saturday May 8, 2010

Meet at Boston’s Restaurant

(Gilbert Road and Civic Center Drive)

March 200 yards from Boston’s to Town Hall!

Join the citizens of Gilbert as we make our voices heard against higher taxes and wasteful spending.  Four members of the Town Council have voted to put a 17% sales tax increase on the ballot in a special election.

We need your help to send a message to these Tax and Spend politicians that we are on to their game.  Voting NO on Proposition 406 sends a message that citizens want and expect Public Safety to be funded FIRST!

We are gathering at Boston’s restaurant on Gilbert Rd. and Civic Center Drive to march on Town Hall and deliver our votes against this tax increase.  We encourage all citizens of Gilbert to bring their early ballot or vote in person on Saturday.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! to send a clear message that higher taxes in a recession is unacceptable.

Sincerely,

Families for Responsible Government PAC – No on 406

Leadership Summit Canceled

April 24, 2010 By: Patriot Category: Events

Due to low response and high cost, the East Valley TEA Party has canceled the Leadership Summit with the Dallas TEA Party which was to be held on May 1st.  We appreciate those of you who signed up.  We hope to hold this summit in the future but we will need a firm commitment from 200 participants before planning the event again, otherwise we will not break even.  If we double the cost, we will only need a commitment from 100 participants.  For those of you that signed up, you will receive a full refund.

Action Alert: Call Gov Brewer re: 1070

April 21, 2010 By: Patriot Category: Action Items, Immigration

Correction:

I’m sorry to have to send you another alert, but I realized that the previous message was not accurate.  We have information that right now the calls asking for Jan Brewer to veto the bill are 2 to 1.

Right now Jan Brewer’s office is claiming that the calls to her office are about evenly split for HR1070 regarding immigration enforcement.

Now is the time to STOP what you are doing and call her office to encourage her to sign 1070 into law!

Also please pass on the information to everyone you know to do the same!

We were significant in getting it throught the state house so let’s keep up the good fight to get it passed once and for all!

Contact Jan Brewer’s Office
Urge her to sign SB1070

The Honorable Jan Brewer
Governor of Arizona
1700 West Washington
Phoenix, Arizona 85007

Telephone (602) 542-4331
Toll Free 1-(800) 253-0883
Fax (602) 542-1381

If you can show up with to the Capitol with a sign or two, that would help as well!!
