Is It Possible?  Dems May Lose 60 Vote Majority this January!

Have you heard anything about the Senate race to fill the seat that Edward Kennedy held?

There is a special election January 19 in Massachusetts  that can change the face of DC.   The main stream media is trying very hard to avoid talking about the special election for Ted Kennedy’s seat.

There is a very staunch Republican candidate against Democrat-the polls today are tied.   Scott Brown is currently serving in MA state senate.  He is asking everyone for help in making calls or anything else anyone is willing to do. If Scott Brown wins this election it breaks the Democrats filibuster proof Senate–leaving Democrats only 59 votes & giving us the additional 1 vote we need to stop their agenda.

There are three candidates:

• Conservative Republican  State Senator Scott Brown
• Democrat Attorney General Martha Coakley
• Independent Joe Kennedy–not related to the well-known Kennedy family

Do what you can to support him:

• Spread the word
• Volunteer to make calls, from any state in the union.  There is a tea party group making calls click here to join
• Make a donation
• Join the brown brigade

Since this is a special election in the dead of winter, getting out the vote will be important.  If you have friends or family in Massachusetts, talk with with them and find out the scoop.  Encourage them to vote for state Senator Scott Brown.

During our debate, Martha Coakley referred to higher taxes as “investments.” I call them what they are — job killers that will make it harder for us to create jobs and bring prosperity back to our country. The differences in the election couldn’t be clearer. I want to go to Washington to be a check and balance against the spending abuses of Congress.

Just imagine if Brown wins the election, it will be –the shot heard around the world–A Republican Senator from Massachusetts, the first since 1972.  This will stop the Obama agenda getting through Congress.

I will be making a conscious effort to wish everyone a Merry Christmas this year…My way of saying that I am celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.

So I am asking if you agree with me,  to pass this on to your family and friends.  Maybe we can prevent one more American tradition from being lost in the sea of  “political correctness.”

• Updated 12/23 midnight with vote results
• Updated 12/24 10am with vote results
  

Cloture is the process to end debate and proceed to vote and will take approximately 6 days minimum, if all time is used.

Cloture Vote 1 a.m. Monday Morning

This is crazy!  A vote at 1 a.m.

Freedom Works is reporting that Harry Reid is bringing the decisive cloture vote for the health care bill at 1:00 a.m. Monday.   So when you go to bed on Sunday night, you will wake up with the vote done. (more…)

The National TEA Party Patriots ask for your ACTION TODAY!

We are at a critical point in our fight against government run healthcare.

We need to have the same urgency and intensity level that we displayed at the Congressional Town Hall Meetings during the August recess. We must not diminish our fight to defeat the Senate healthcare bill. Many “Blue Dog” Democrats and some GOP Senators have stated that they don’t see the same intensity level opposing the Senate Healthcare bill that we displayed opposing the House version. They are beginning to believe that we do not strongly oppose the Senate Healthcare bill. We need to let them know that is not true.

Information we received from FAIR: Federation for American Immigration Reform

FAIR has received news that Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) will introduce his “Comprehensive Immigration Reform for America’s Security and Prosperity” on Tuesday, December 15. This is it!! A plan to give amnesty to over 12 million illegal aliens is on its way.
